Our Introductory Python workshop is a 2 day weekend crash course, hosted at Trinity College Dublin. Each workshop runs on a Saturday and a Sunday from 10:30 to 16:00 and the cost is €325. Participants only require a laptop with MacOS, Windows or Linux installed. Previous coding experience is helpful but not required. Tea, coffee and cakes will be provided during the workshop.
These workshops are taught through Python, but will cover the concepts of computer programming generally in a relaxed and informal environment. We welcome people with no coding experience who want to learn new technical and problem-solving skills. Participants begin with the building blocks of computational programming, learning the syntax and basics of Python. Following this, participants will apply their knowledge to real-world projects such as data visualisation and analysis. The aim of the course is to build fluency working with Python and confidence in pursuing projects.
